Your Guide: Kate Moody

 I’m Kate, a seasoned counsellor, yoga teacher, and somatic educator dedicated to helping women break free from chronic stress patterns and restore their connection to their bodies. When we live in survival mode—stuck in fight, flight, or shutdown—our nervous system holds the imprint of stress and trauma, often manifesting as pelvic tension, pain, prolapse, incontinence, painful intimacy, and hormonal imbalances.


Our pelvic region is deeply connected to the nervous system, responding to stress, overwhelm, and unresolved trauma by gripping, holding, or becoming disconnected. Through nervous system regulation, movement, breathwork, and embodied awareness, we can shift from patterns of protection to rhythms of restoration—bringing safety, resilience, and ease back to the body.

  • ACA Registered Counsellor – Specialising in Family Therapy, ACT, DBT, Religious & Cult Trauma, Grief & Loss
  • Yoga Teacher since 2009 – Focused on Pelvic Health & Balancing Hormones
  • Certified Vagus Nerve Practitioner – Integrating breath, movement, and nervous system regulation
  • Somatic Educator & Trauma-Informed Practitioner – Weaving Polyvagal Theory and body-based healing


Through my own journey of overcoming chronic fatigue and burnout, I discovered the profound impact of nervous system dysregulation on pelvic health. The gripping, the tension, the disconnect—so many women silently carry these struggles, believing it’s just something they have to live with. But healing is possible.


This understanding led me to create Restore Your Rhythm—an eight-week embodied program designed to help women regulate their nervous system, release pelvic tension, and reclaim their connection to their bodies.
