I’m a counsellor and yoga teacher and I'm passionate about supporting women who feel burnt out, overwhelmed, and depleted by the demands of life. My therapeutic approach focuses on the nervous system and a somatic understanding of the body, helping us deeply explore and understand the reasons behind our experiences.

When I’m not doing the work I love, you’ll catch me soaking up nature on a walk, swimming, getting my hands dirty in the veggie garden, diving into herbalism or Human Design, or binge-watching my latest Netflix series. I’m all about those podcasts that dive deep into powerful life stories and transformations that inspire and deeply move me. And l genuinely enjoy moments spent with family and friends—those are the real treasures.

From Burnout to Vitality: My Journey
In my early 30s, burnout and chronic fatigue brought my life to a standstill. For years, I had pushed myself relentlessly, driven by busyness and a deep need to please others. I ignored my body’s whispers of exhaustion, relying on adrenaline to keep going. Eventually, I crashed—completely depleted—and was forced to confront the unsustainable pace I had been living.
In that restorative pause, I found a quiet stillness I had long avoided. I began to rest, reflect, and heal. The weight of life’s imprints on my nervous system softened as I made space for integration and self-discovery. Through this process, I began to reconnect with a deep wisdom within me—a knowing that had always been there, waiting to unfold.

This journey was not easy, but it was transformative. I let go of the ‘good girl’ persona and the need to be everything to everyone, and confronted the deeper wounds that drove my addiction to busyness and the 'people pleaser'. With the support of counselling, restorative yoga, and nourishing Ayurvedic and naturopathic practices, I reclaimed my energy, clarity, and vitality. I learned that healing requires more than self-care—it requires self-compassion, intentional support, and sometimes, a shift away from environments that deplete us.

Burnout isn’t just a personal struggle; it often reflects the pressures of toxic systems that value productivity over people. I experienced this firsthand later in my career, facing burnout again in a workplace that demanded everything but gave little in return.
